Uproot Clean Performance Product Ad
The finished Uproot Clean performance ad, structured around an immediate product problem, a clear demonstration, supporting visual proof, and a social-first close.
Supplied final social ad master
The brief
The brief was simple but performance-focused: understand the product quickly, study the brand's working ad style, use the supplied footage, and make creative decisions that improve the final ad. The deliverable was a social product video produced on a short turnaround.
Developed as a paid creative trial for a performance video editing role.
Product understanding
Embedded pet hair behaves differently from loose surface hair. The creative needed to make the problem instantly recognizable, then show a satisfying product-led solution across carpets, furniture, clothing, car mats, and other pet-heavy surfaces.
Product worlds in motion
Supplemental product worlds and motion studies make the shedding problem tangible before the product-led payoff.
01
Product kit and pet context
Supporting product and lifestyle visuals created for the trial to expand the ad's visual vocabulary around pets, shedding, embedded hair, carpet texture, and removal. These are AI-assisted creative assets, not official Uproot Clean product photography.
02
a dog shedding hair
Shedding establishes the problem.
03
Lifestyle variation
A pet-owner context built around product relevance and the everyday problem of shedding, developed as supplemental AI-assisted creative rather than official product photography.
04
Animated macro motion concept showing pet hair embedded in carpet fibers
Macro texture makes embedded hair recognizable.
05
Scraper product detail
A close product study emphasizing the scraper action and tactile removal payoff within the broader performance story.
06
a scraper removing pet hair from a surface
The scraper action creates the visual payoff.
07
a vacuum cleaning pet hair from carpet
Ordinary cleanup provides the contrast for the product demonstration.
Performance editing
The edit was built for immediate comprehension. Each shot had to either establish the problem, prove the product action, reinforce the benefit, or move the viewer toward the next beat. CapCut handled the main editorial assembly, while After Effects supported motion and finishing where needed.
The structure prioritizes hook speed, problem recognition, before-and-after logic, demonstration, cut rhythm, text hierarchy, and social-first framing without claiming measured campaign performance.
Creative decision-making
The brief tested both direction-following and creative judgment. My approach was to preserve the product-demo clarity of the brand's reference ads while adding supplemental visuals, tighter visual storytelling, and a more deliberately structured problem-to-solution progression.
Fast-turnaround production
The project was produced against a 24-business-hour trial window, which required rapid product research, asset selection, supplemental visual generation, editing, motion work, and final delivery without turning the piece into a generic template edit.

What this project demonstrates
Performance video editing
A direct-response edit shaped for immediate comprehension, clear product proof, and a strong next beat.
Product demonstration
The product problem and removal action stay visible enough for the viewer to understand what is happening quickly.
AI-assisted visual development
Supplemental product and lifestyle visuals expand the ad's visual vocabulary without being presented as official product photography.
Motion concept development
Supporting motion studies isolate shedding, embedded hair, cleanup friction, and the satisfying removal payoff.
Creative judgment from brief
Brand-direction awareness is balanced with decisions that strengthen hook clarity, pacing, and problem-to-solution progression.
Fast-turnaround production
Research, asset selection, visual generation, editing, motion work, and finishing were organized around a 24-business-hour trial window.
Social video advertising
Framing, text hierarchy, cut rhythm, and visual beats are treated as part of a platform-aware performance system.
Post-production finishing
CapCut handled the main editorial assembly, while After Effects supported motion and finishing where needed.
The result
This project shows how I approach performance creative as more than assembly. The brief, product behavior, hook, demonstration, supporting visuals, pacing, motion, and final edit all need to work together so the product value is understood quickly.
