I have spent more than 20 years creating and directing product visuals, motion graphics, 3D animation, video, campaign content, and creative-production systems.
My background started with industrial design. That training taught me to think about how a product works, how it is shaped, how it should be presented, and what the customer needs to understand.
Who is Raffy Dematawaran?
Raffy Dematawaran is a Manila-based AI Video Creative Director and hands-on Producer with more than 20 years of creative and production experience. After more than 15 years leading multimedia production for TCL Communication and Alcatel Smartphones, he founded The Elite Videopreneurs. Today, he directs and produces generative AI videos, product launch films, SaaS commercials, motion graphics, 3D product visuals, editing, compositing, and creative workflows for product teams, agencies, and international clients.
I began my career creating product, packaging, and presentation materials for international customers across Europe, Asia, and the United States.
In 2009, I joined TCL Communication / Alcatel Smartphones in Shenzhen. Over the next 15 years, I led global multimedia production across product video, 3D animation, motion graphics, photography, retail content, launch visuals, post-production, and localization.
I managed, trained, and reviewed the work of designers, editors, animators, and production specialists. I also helped build internal production capabilities that reduced the need to outsource creative work.
As generative AI became part of modern production, I added it to an existing foundation in story, design, motion, 3D, editing, product marketing, and creative review.
Today, I work as an AI Video Creative Director and hands-on Producer. I create selected projects through Upwork and lead production through The Elite Videopreneurs.
I do not believe that a generated scene is finished work.
It still needs a reason to exist, a clear message, a place in the story, consistent design, controlled movement, good editing, readable text, clean sound, and a final review by someone who understands production.
My job is to connect those parts.
